SOLIDARITY LOVE EQUITY FREEDOM

The artist Michael Coppage and Cincy Nice believe it’s important for us to participate to create the change in the communities we would like to see. Our cities are beautiful, but for us to realize our desired future, we need to get involved individually and collectively.

Michael Coppage is originally from Chicago, Ill and now resides in Cincinnati, Ohio. He studied at Memphis College of Art and obtained a BFA degree with an emphasis on sculpture. He continued his education and obtained an MFA degree from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) with an emphasis on sculpture and mixed media.

Check out this video of Michael spinning with his Tzedakah Box.

Cincy Nice works to create more welcoming spaces. We do this by working to create platforms for diverse artists and lead several community efforts, activations, and experiences. We believe in creativity; and value collaboration over competition. We believe there’s power in culture and joy in community. We believe in Cincinnati and in coming together to make it even better.
